This 1940 era home was given a modern facelift complete with larger windows, skylight and an impressive kitchen reconfigured to allow for an open kitchen/great room concept, perfect for family dinners or entertaining.

The renovation required upgrades to the major systems, mechanical, plumbing and electrical. Upgrades included the latest technology for convenience, safety and energy efficiency such as the installation of larger, more energy-efficient windows and doors, ”on demand” hot water heater , heated ceramic floor inserts etc.

Previously four very small bedrooms and a main bath occupied the upper floor which was extended and now includes a more spacious master bedroom with a luxurious en-suite bathroom and walk in closet. Daylight pours into the ensuite through an overhead skylight and a glass block feature in the shower which was constructed with an open transom like area atop the walls. Pocket doors keep the room visually simple and the limited floor space unobstructed.
